If you're experiencing a problem with SiS, please fill out and submit the
following bug report form. You may also want to check out our list of known problems.
If what you want to tell us is really more of a suggestion or a request for enhancement, please use our
suggestion form instead.
When you submit your bug report, it will be entered into our database. After an assessment,
you will be notified if additional information is needed. Periodically we will post notices regarding bugs reported by our customers in the Known Problems
section of this page, and tips or workarounds on the FAQ page.
Please be as specific as possible when describing the problem.
We may need to contact you for more information, such as if we have trouble reproducing the
problem you describe.
The following is a list of some known problems with SiS; we are working to correct them
for the next release.
- The datafile will not work if all records are deleted or it is
empty. This is prevented by the software not allowing the last record in the
datafile to be deleted.
- When adding a subject and clicking on the Index or using the
next/previous subject buttons, the subject is added as the last record in the
datafile, although it is still displayed correctly in the Index. This corrects
itself as soon as the Subject Entry form is closed and reopened.
- When adding a new subject and editing it without giving it a name
and then selecting a subject from the Index, SiS will prompt for a name and then
continue onto the selected subject without saving any edits to the new
subject. This was corrected by giving the subject a name of “<No Name>”,
saving the new subject, and then moving on to the newly selected subject.
- There is no validation check to determine if a gang affiliation was
entered or whether any drug types are selected when the subject is suspected
of drug use.
